What is a Civil War?

Civil War is defined as a war between organized groups within the same nation, republic, or state. The English Civil War was between King Charles and his army and the Parliament's army. The aim of each side is to take control of the other as well as the rest of the nation, republic, or state. Many Civil Wars have gone on over history, very few more famous and important than the English Civil War. When the King wanted to much power, money, and fame, parliament had enough. War commenced, and it is still talked about hundreds of years later.
